yāni veda vidāṁ śreṣṭho bhagavān bādarāyaṇaḥ |
anye ca munayaḥ sūta parāvaravido viduḥ ||
vettha tvaṁ saumya tat sarvaṁ tattvatas tadanugrahāt |
brūyuḥ snigdhasya śiṣyasya guravo guhyam apy uta ||
śrīdharaḥ : kiṁ ca, yānīty-ādi | vidāṁ viduṣāṁ madhye śreṣṭho vyāso yāni veda | parāvare saguṇa-nirguṇe brahmaṇī vidantīti tathā ||7|| vettha jānāsi | saumya he sādho | teṣām anugrahāt | tattvato jñāne hetum āha—brūyur iti | snigdhasya premavataḥ | uta eva | guhyaṁ rahasyam api brūyur eva ||8||
Translation:-
“bidām" means among the scholars. Means the great sage bādarāyaṇa is best among the scholars of vedas. And he knows the inner meanings of vedic scriptures.In the word “parābarabidaḥ", parā means nirguṇa brahma, and abara means saguṇabrahma. And who knows both the form of brahma he is known as parābarabid. vettha means you knows. saumya means O saintly person. You knows the esoteric meaning of scriptures by the mercy of the great sages.
Why he got mercy from the great sages? Thats why he said —“bruyuḥ snigdhasya śiṣyasya gurabo guhyamapyuta". “snigdha" means who is premī or has qualities of divine love to the supreme lord. “uta" means certainly. guhyamapi means the guru tells all the esoteric meanings of the scriptures.
